Western PA Crawlers (W.Pa.C.) & Kozy Rest Kampground
are hosting the 2nd Annual

W.Pa.C. Crawl 'n Camp 2 Weekend
DATE: August 13-15, 2010
TIME: All Weekend (Main Events on Saturday)
LOCATION: KOZY REST KAMPGROUND (HARRISVILLE, PA)
CLASSES: Scale Rigs,
SCT Races set up by Falcon Raceway

EVENTS: Tough Truck Challenge, Tug'oWar, Hill Climbs, Mud Bogg,
SCT Races set up by Falcon Raceway


PRIZES: Winners of each event (TBD)

COMP ENTRY FEE: $10 first rig/$5 additional (Campers)
Additional $3 Visitors Fee to Campground per person (Non Campers)*
(*Fee includes use of Campground Facilities)
(All other activities free)

There will be various events throughout the weekend including a Friday Night Scaler run .

Three weeks ago we found out that Steve Berry (STEVESTOCK) was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung and Bone Cancer.  This was a blow to the club.  Steve has been a close friend of mine for 10 years and one of the officers of the club from it's inception.  Those that know him or met him at Motorama can attest that he would do anything for anyone.

Steve has a positive attitude that he is going to beat this thing and be back crawling.  He is currently going through radiation treatments for the bone cancer, and will start Chemo on Wednesday.  This will be a tough battle but one that he is not going to give up on.

He is not aware that I am doing, this so I would like to keep it on the QT.  I am going to donate all the proceeds of this event, Crawl'n Camp 2, to him and his family.  Knowing the emotional and financial obstacles they are about to endure, I felt that we could make a huge impact in their time of need.

If you cannot come to the event and would like to donate something, I will be setting up an account for that purpose.  Details to follow.

Please keep Steve and his family in your prayers.

That is some bad news John. I don't know Steve very well, but the short amount of time that I have dealt with him he seemed like a great guy. I know that he can keep his spirit up to beat this.

I will not be able to attend the crawl'n camp weekend, but would like to help the family when you get things set-up.

He started his Chemo Yesterday...6 hours straight.  I talked with him last night.  He sounded really tired.  I am getting the account set up and will post up details when live.

Anyone coming to this???

It is going to be a great event with tons of ways to test your rigs. 

Also, it is for a great cause.  A lot of vendors stepped up to help out Steve.
